Our Mission

Rooted in community and local heritage.

Norwood Grove is a historic green space with a rich local story and a distinctive landscape. Its historic mansion, known as the White House, and its beautiful grounds form an important part of the area's heritage. The land was formerly a part of the Great North Wood and the Great Streatham Common (named Lime Common in the Domesday Book of 1086). By 1800, it had been enclosed as Norbury Grove. On November 16, 1926, the beautiful Norwood Grove was officially opened the park to the public.
